Self-Exclusion at Xhjili
Xhjili provides protective measures to help you regulate gambling activity, including Time-Out and longer Self-Exclusion. This page explains the processes, effects, and your rights when these measures are active.
Time-Out (short break)
A Time-Out is a temporary interruption of activity across all Xhjili products. Once activated, you may not deposit, withdraw, play, or access any Xhjili services for the chosen period. The available Time-Out periods are displayed in your Account Profile under the Time-Out section. Revocation of a Time-Out can occur only after 24 hours from the initial request, and upon expiry the account is automatically re-activated.
Self-Exclusion (longer break)
Self-Exclusion is a longer, fixed period during which access to your Xhjili account is blocked. To initiate, you must communicate your decision to pause activities to Xhjili by electronic mail. Upon receipt of a self-exclusion request, your account enters a first stage 24-hour cooling-off period during which no gambling activity is permitted.
- After the cooling-off period, while the account remains closed, a Customer Support Agent will inform you of the available self-exclusion periods. The pre-selected time periods are fixed and there are no variations from the listed options.
- To proceed, you must respond by electronic mail. If no response is received within a further 24 hours, the account will be reopened and confirmed by electronic mail.
Once Self-Exclusion begins, your account will be disabled and you will be unable to deposit or withdraw funds for the duration of the Self-Exclusion. Upon expiry, the account will automatically be re-activated.
Financial Protection of Players and Personal Limits
When setting up your account or at any time thereafter, you may impose spending or activity limits in the relevant My Account section. If you exceed the maximum self-imposed limit, you will be restricted from any further actions related to that limit.
Any request to revoke a limit or exclusion must be made by written notice or electronic notice sent to Xhjili. Xhjili will consider such requests but retains absolute discretion to deny them. Xhjili will take reasonable steps to ensure adherence to the Self-Exclusion procedure and will use reasonable endeavours to avoid sending promotional material to customers who have self-excluded. The customer acknowledges that Xhjili bears no liability if the customer uses alternate accounts, modifies registration details, or if promotional material is inadvertently forwarded in contravention of self-exclusion.
Promotion and Compliance
Efforts are made to prevent promotional communications to customers who have self-excluded. If a customer discovers a way to continue gambling during the Self-Exclusion period, Xhjili cannot be held responsible for activity conducted outside the active Exclusion window. Customers are encouraged to seek immediate professional assistance if they encounter difficulties during self-exclusion and are reminded to pursue recognised support services for gambling related issues through appropriate channels.
Support, Guidance and Auto-Exclusion Tools
Xhjili supports access to external guidance for gambling related issues through accredited services. In addition, there are software solutions available that assist with auto-exclusion, provided by recognised suppliers, to help enforce the selected protection measures across devices and platforms.
Operational Details
Xhjili is actively operated under Curacao regulatory oversight. Details of licensing and regulatory status are available to customers within the account area for verification. By using Xhjili services, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the self-exclusion and Time-Out provisions described above, including any future updates to these protections.
